My OJT BLOG

 I am Arean B. Basa a 4th year student of Northern Iloilo Polythecnic State College Lemery Campus taking a Bachelor of Science in n Information Technology. In this last semester of the year, we k now that OJT is very important in our case because this one of the requirements that I need to accomplish in order to graduate. As an I.T students we expose more on computer works, making programs, editing,printing and other more.

My expectations on my OJT is that I will know more about computer, develop my skill as an I.T, gain more knowledge,socialize other people, experience as a employee in a company and other fields that uses computers. I expect that in my OJT my employer will teach me  more about the things that could help me and give me additional knowledge. But be more our OJT start, a week before we are oriented by sir Teruel about what we are going to do in our OJT workplace and we asked that where we are going to do our OJT.  He say that we search the a company or businesses that can give us knowledge and also useful that can enhance our skill as an I.T. I decided to do my OJT in NAP because Nap for me I know it can give me more knowledge in some fields of using computer that useful in a business. The sad things that I heard that when sir Arduo announce that we are not going to deploy to different company because there is no approval that we do our OJT outside the campus.

March 14-15 2022 , I feel excited that I m going to go in my OJT workplace I was prepared well same time I feel nervous . But sad things happened again, because my  mother  got sick, she feel to much pain in her left legs because of her operation past January this year. I only thing I did is to didn't go to school and help her to go to doctor for her check up. That is why I am absent on my first and second day of my OJT. I also inform sir Arduo thay wil not able to go to school because I need to go to doctor for the check up and sir Arduo approved.

March 21-22 2022 in this date In am ready to go to school. I wake up early at 5am because my phone alarm 5am. I wake up and I take a coffee and I prepare my food before I going to school. I prepared my self and take my breakfast after that my classmate told me that we need now to go to school with him because he has a motorcycle. When I am at school, I go to my workplace that where I was assigned to be my  workplace and it is on publication and my adviser is ma'am Toledo. She told me every morning everytime i go on OJT workplace first thing I do is to clean the area. After I cleaned the area she asked me if i know how to troubleshoot computer because her PC is beeping continuously and according to sir Demafiles the problem is the Ram , according to him i need to clean the Ram and install it again on the System Unit. That's why after I follow what sir Demafiles said the PC are running normally. Also this day ma'am Toledo said to do a rating in teachers rating sheet.


March 28-29, on this day ma'am Toledo told me that she need to print in the PC but the PC did not have a printer driver according to her. I told her that I need first to install printer driver on PC. I asked her if she has a printer driver she said that the printer driver is lost that's why i told her I download printer driver online but the problem is the connection of the internet in school is not good. I go to sir Ador to borrowed a printer driver because I know before when I am at sir Ador room that he has a printer driver and the printer of ma'am Toledo and sir Ador is the same that is why I borrowed to sir Ador and I install it on ma'am Toledo PC. After I install I install some application that useful in PC. That's why  ma'am Toledo didn't have any problem for her PC, she can now print, and do some work in the PC. MY OJT in ma'am Toledo is very useful to me and even a little things i can still gaining knowledge.  I know that I can learn more and develop my skill.  I want to graduate that's why I need to pursue my dreams.

My ojt blog in a month of April

 April 4,5      My OJT start on this date of April, First at the morning i wake up early because i need to prepare myself before I am going to school for the OJT. I am so very happy and excited because I know I have something to learn in my workplace. At the morning I start my Ojt by cleaning the publication office, then I am  printing some modules of ma'am Toledo in her different subject that they need to distribute. I xerox copy some of the documents, that ma'am Toledo said. April 11, 12      At the morning same as the past date  of my Ojt. I clean the office first when I went into a office.  Some of the day of my Ojt is same was I did in some past days.  Theres a time that the computer are malfunction and need to troubleshoot enable to run and we cqn use it. I am the one who is troubleshooting the computer, but there the time that in the office the computer cannot use it because some of it parts are damage and need to be replace....
